We offer an industry-leading 100% refund on your tour price if you cancel at least 1 year before your scheduled departure. Some third-party costs (like Machu Picchu tickets or trains) dictated by the Peruvian government may be non-refundable, but we will always provide receipts for transparency.
1. Contractual Agreement
By booking a tour with Machu Picchu Free Tours (registered as Auqui Adventure E.I.R.L.), you agree to the following terms. A contract is formed once a deposit is received and we issue a written confirmation.
2. Booking and Payments
Deposit: A deposit (typically 50%) is required to secure permits (like the Inca Trail, Machu Picchu entrance tickets, train tickets) and hotel reservations, which are not refundable, due to the Peruvian government laws.
Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid 150 days before the tour start date.
3.Industry-Leading 100% Cancellation Policy
At Auqui Adventure, we believe in flexibility. Our unique "Peace of Mind" policy works as follows:
Full Refund:You are entitled to a 100% refund of the tour price if you cancel at least 1 year before your scheduled departure.
Exceptions:While we refund our service fees and guided costs, certain Third-Party Non-Refundable Costs (such as official Machu Picchu entrance tickets, Inca Trail permits, or non-refundable train tickets/flights) are governed by the Peruvian government and may not be refundable. We will provide receipts for these specific costs.
No-Show:Failure to arrive at the designated meeting point without notice results in forfeiture of the tour cost.
Important: We need your passport details. If not provided, we cannot secure the full details and cannot continue with the booking.
4. Travel Insurance (Recommended)
Due to the unpredictable nature of adventure travel (weather, altitude, flight delays), we strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies and trip interruptions.
5. Physical Requirements and Health
Altitude: Most of our tours take place above 3,300m (10,800ft). You acknowledge the risks of altitude sickness and confirm you are in adequate physical health for the chosen trek.
Risk Acknowledgment: Adventure travel involves inherent risks. By booking, you voluntarily assume these risks.
6. Documentation
Passports: Per Peruvian law, you must carry your original passport during all tours. It must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Peru.
Details: You must provide accurate passport information for permit processing. Any errors provided by the client may result in permit invalidation.
7. Force Majeure
Auqui Adventure is not liable for changes or cancellations caused by "Acts of God," including strikes, social unrest, natural disasters, or government-mandated closures. In these cases, we will provide travel credits for future use.
